Nicholas is a visual storyteller currently based in the midwest. He loves capturing moments that people can cherish for a lifetime. Specializing in documentary-style photography/filmmaking and drawn to the simplicity of black and white photography, he is also the founder and a contributor of the Twenty One Collective, a non-profit comprised of creatives, artists, and entrepreneurs with a common purpose: to connect those with entrepreneurial spirits and generous hearts to worthy causes and projects.
He is passionate about working with businesses and non-profits to share their brand, tell their stories, and provide them with the creative elements that will help accomplish their mission.
He has a spirit of exploration, Nicholas often finds himself setting out on new adventures, capturing moments that collectively tell a story. These experiences ultimately lead to meaningful connections that propel the story forward and are told in the hope of inspiring others. His goal in storytelling is to inspire and invite people to something bigger than themselves, leading them toward acts of compassion, empathy, and generosity.
He sees himself as someone with a deep conviction of discovery who is dedicated to being a lifelong learner of people, places, and cultures. He values art, creativity, and storytelling highly and strives to create spaces for the voiceless to be heard, the unknown to be seen, as well as celebrating what is good and beautiful in local communities and around the world.
His aim is to be the type of photographer who walks in humility and puts others above himself. To Nicholas, life is about being available and using his camera as a tool to help others gain a different perspective on the world, whether they might know it or not.
There are a few things that bring him the most joy as a visual storyteller, one of them being to inspire others to action through his work, and in return, they do the same with theirs.
